Simple Tuna Casserole

Tuna Casserole has been one of my favorite meals since I was a kid. It’s easy to make, with basic ingredients. And if your family doesn’t like tuna, you can easily use chicken instead! It’s simple, All-American dinner!

Ingredients: 2 cans of Tuna in water (or canned chicken!) 16oz bag of egg noodles ½ cup frozen peas ½ cup diced onion 2 cans of Cream of Mushroom ½ cup milk 2 cups cheddar cheese Potato Chips

Start off by making your egg noodles. Try not to overcook them, al dente is just fine! Preheat your oven to 375F. Drain the tuna (or chicken). In a large bowl, start off by mixing the Cream of Mushroom and the milk. Add in the peas, onion, tuna, and 1 cup of the cheese. When that’s all well combined. Mix in the egg noodles and pour everything into a casserole dish, making sure everything is evenly distributed. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top, then crush the potato chips over the top. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese on top is melted and the casserole is heated through. And that’s it. It’s so simple! You can serve with rolls if you’re looking for something to go along with it. Every so often, I will replace the potato chips with French’s Crispy Onions, or I’ll add some sautéed mushrooms! It’s another one of those recipes that you can have as is, or make it your own!
