Chili Mac

It’s Monday! Which means the weekend is over, kids are back in school, and you’re back to work. You might have some errands that were forgotten over the weekend that will have to be rushed as soon as you clock out. Doesn’t really leave much time for dinner.

If you’re looking for something quick and easy, and something your kids might just flip for, look no further than Chili Mac. I tend to make a large pot of this, my kids (and husband) go nuts for it and the leftovers are so worth it.

Ingredients: 2 Boxes of your favorite Mac and Cheese 2 Cans of Chili 1 Can of Corn Shredded Cheddar Garlic Powder

Prepare the Mac and Cheese as normal. Add in the chili, corn, and however much garlic powder you feel you need (I usually use about a teaspoon). Heat it through, serve up, and top with shredded cheese. It takes about 20-30 minutes from start to finish, and most of it is waiting for the pasta to cook. You can obviously adjust quantities easily, per your household. It’s inexpensive, delicious, and incredibly easy. Give it a try!
