Book Review for Haunted by James Patterson

The Michael Bennett series by James Patterson is one of the best series I have read. Each book has it's own special story but at the same time you get a continuation of Michael Bennett's story. This book was co-written by James O. Born, it was written excellently and makes you want to keep reading the book.

Michael Bennett is a cop in New York City, where he lives with his ten kids, nanny, and father. In this book one of his kids faces some criminal issues of his own, which only brings more stress to Michael's life. As I mentioned, each book is different, this book is about Michael first solving crimes at home and trying to help his son, then he goes on vacation but things do not goes as planned. He is pulled into an investigation and of course, he goes along with it. He is a cop whether working or at home. His job is important to him and he is good at it so he agrees to help the local cops try to find their suspect.

As with most series, this book is better read in the order it was written. There is some back history written into the book but you will miss out on a lot if you do not read the other books in the series. The other books in this series are very well written also. It is nice to follow along with the family and see how they are changing and how different things happen.

If you can not read the whole series, you can read this book by itself, it is well written and has a complete story within it. It gives you enough background to understand what is going on and who everybody is.

I have provided a link for the book and links for other books in the series also.
